Another 16 buses with 680 displaced Karabakh residents arrived in Stepanakert on November 25, the Russian defense ministry reported. They were accompanied by Russian peacekeeping forces.

More than 11,000 people are estimated to have returned to Stepanakert since November 14. At the same time, a similar number of people have been newly displaced from areas being handed over to Azerbaijani control, particularly in Aghdam, Kelbajar and Lachin districts, as part of the November 9 agreement. Some 90,000 people, or the majority of some 150,000 Karabakh residents, were estimated to have been displaced prior to the cease-fire.

In addition to mechanized infantry and demining units, the Russian military has also dispatched 122 military medical personnel to Karabakh.
