Stepanakert and Shushi were again hit by shelling Tuesday evening, with cluster munitions setting fires to houses and cars; two people were seriously injured in Stepanakert as a result.

The artillery attacks capped another day of fighting at the frontlines. According to the Defense Army, Turkish-backed Azerbaijani forces attempted offensive operations on the Mrav range, as well as around Martuni-Chartar and Shushi.

Artsakh’s human rights ombudsman estimated some 1815 hectares of forest is burning throughout Karabakh due to the use of incendiary munitions by Turkish-Azerbaijani forces. Similar attacks have taken place in the south of Karabakh as well.
