On Monday, November 13th from 11 AM to 3 PM, the USC Dornsife Institute of Armenian Studies will open its doors for International Education Week. Stop by DMC 351 for an opportunity to explore the contemporary Armenian experience across cultures and academic disciplines.

Meet our staff – who are collecting and digitizing interviews about the unique experiences and history of Armenian-Americans through our “California History Through Armenian Experiences” and “My Armenian Story” oral history projects. Learn about our research programs tackling questions related to the political, linguistic, social, and cultural developments in the Armenian Diaspora, the Republic of Armenia, and Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).

Travel the world to research Armenia or Armenian Studies with the help of our Tufenkian Travel Scholarship and dive deep into Armenian Studies by enrolling in MDA 330, a course on Armenian Heritage, Language, and Culture. Get to know our student workers – who bring fresh ideas and new approaches to our work, and find out how you can get published in The Slap, a student publication that features creative and critical work by undergraduates at USC.

Check out our podcast studio, where we’ve produced hundreds of podcasts examining war, politics, language, memory, and identity, such as our “Language Therapy with Dr. K” podcast series.

Learn about the impressive list of scholars, educators, authors, artists, and changemakers who have taken part in our world-class programming. Explore our library and rich archival collection while listening to rare vinyls of diaspora music and sampling traditional Armenian cuisine.
